- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Orsi is a great doctor...that is, if you want someone without sympathy and that goes straight by the book. He'll certainly give you his opinion, whether it's accurate or wanted! I was once told to not eat white rice because it's no good for you...not limit your intake, just don't eat it at all. And this goes with many other foods Dr. Orsi finds evil. Are you in pain? Well, suck it up and take acetaminophen or ibuprofen because you'll not get prescription pain meds from him. He once put me on an extremely high dose of prednisone, and then told me that when the bottle was empty I was done; you don't need to taper off the medicine as in the past. So what did I do? I stopped taking the prednisone cold turkey and felt like someone had run over me with a truck for four days!! He doesn't really have the persona you want in a doctor as mentioned in another review; it's more just matter of fact and to the point. The practice as a whole has suffered since it's take over by Community Care Physicians, but what are you going to do?? There are very few private practices anymore; they all have been swallowed up by CCP or St. Peter's.September 02, 2017by Barnabas Collins
